Welcome aboard! Honestly, we're not totally sure what we need from you yet. A lot of what we run is held together with spreadsheets and goodwill. This page should get you started.

## Who we are
We sell camping and hiking gear online across the US. We're about 40 people, mostly remote, spread over a few time zones.

We sell three ways:
- **The main store** for consumers.
- **The wholesale portal** for outdoor shops and guides. A handful of wholesale accounts make up a big share of revenue.
- **Basecamp Rentals**, a gear-rental business we bought last year. It still runs its own booking site.

Small items ship by parcel. Bulk wholesale orders and big items (shelters, kayaks) go by freight, on LTL pallets. Some products are imported, so customs codes matter.

Everything in the warehouse, so you know where to look:

- `store.orders`: one row per consumer order
- `store.order_lines`: one row per item in an order
- `store.customers`: consumer customers (masked: no names or emails)
- `store.products`: the product catalog
- `store.inventory_snapshot`: stock per product, one snapshot per day
- `wholesale.accounts`: wholesale customer accounts and approval status
- `wholesale.orders`: wholesale orders
- `wholesale.order_lines`: items on wholesale orders
- `wholesale.price_lists`: wholesale price per product per tier
- `helpdesk.tickets`: support tickets with status and assignee
- `helpdesk.ticket_events`: every status change and message on a ticket
- `helpdesk.customers`: helpdesk customer profiles
